To join the Motability Scheme you need to currently receive either the Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component (ERMC) of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Child Disability Payment (Scotland), the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS).

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) are vehicles that have been specially adapted so that people with disabilities and mobility issues can travel in comfort and safety while seated in their wheelchair.
