The Motability Scheme helps people with a disability stay mobile by exchanging their Mobility Allowance for a brand new car or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV). To qualify for a new Abarth through the Motability Scheme, you need to currently benefit from one of the following government funded Mobility Allowances:
The Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance - £75.75 a week
The Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment - £75.75 a week
Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland Only) - £75.75 a week

Yes. Existing Motability customers and new customers who order a vehicle before the end of 2024 are eligible for the one-time payment - which is paid after the handover of a brand new Abarth - when placing an application for a new vehicle with their local Abarth Motability Specialist.
The Motability New Vehicle Payment is worth £750, and from April 2023 customers can choose to have all or a part of the New Vehicle Payment amount sent directly to their dealer to pay towards the Advance Payment of a new Abarth.

The money from the sale of the vehicle could go straight back into your pocket, or if you want to choose a more expensive Abarth, you could opt to put the money towards a higher Advance Payment.
