Motability have introduced a 'New Vehicle Payment' for Motability customers who are either renewing at the end of their existing lease or who are new to the scheme and order a vehicle before the end of 2024.
Motorists with a disability are eligible for the one-time payment - which is paid after the handover of the vehicle - when placing an application for a new vehicle with their local Motability Specialist.
The New Vehicle Payment amount increased from £250 to £750 in 2023, and from April 2023 Motability customers can choose to have all or a part of the New Vehicle Payment amount sent directly to their dealer to pay for the Advance Payment of a new vehicle.
