If you’re thinking of getting an electric vehicle (EV) through the Motability Scheme, you’ll be pleased to learn that the Motability worry-free package includes a fitted home electric charging point for Motability customers who lease a 100% battery-powered electric car.
The installation of the charging point will be handled directly by Motability's partner Ohme, and whilst the charging solution is free (for simple installations), you will still be responsible for paying for the electricity used to charge your EV.
If you are unable to fit a home charging point at your home, for example if your house doesn’t have off-street parking, then you’ll be able to access a network of BP Pulse charging points for simple on-street charging.
