The Regional Driving Assessment Centre in Manchester is a registered charity and part of a network of driving assessment centres across the UK. Based in Salford, the centre offers professional information and assessment so disabled and elderly people can gain or retain their driving independence. The centre also has a driving tuition service and can help with paediatric assessment for car seats (including restraints) and powered wheelchairs.
They operate an outreach service at satellite centres in Hull, Accrington, Ashton-Under-Lyne and Scunthorpe.
