The Motability Big Events are back for 2023! These free events – held at accessible locations across the UK – bring together Motability advisers and a great range of cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), scooters and powered wheelchairs all under one roof.
Regional one day events will take place on three different Saturdays during the summer months, with the flagship two-day ‘Big Events’ taking place in Birmingham on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 May and Edinburgh on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September 2023.
Visitors will be able to chat to Motability specialists about the types of vehicles that they can lease through the Motability Scheme, and there will be cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), scooters and powered wheelchairs for guests to look at. Many adapted and non-adapted vehicles can also be test driven on the day (remember to take your driving licence with you if you want to test drive a car).
Choose a new vehicle through Motability and comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover, servicing and maintenance, road tax, windscreen and tyre insurance plus many popular adaptations are all included in the price you pay. All you do is add the fuel.
You can apply to join the Motability Scheme if you receive a higher rate mobility allowance because of a disability, and have at least 12 months left on your allowance when you apply.
