Praised for its retro-futuristic looks, premium interior and quality fit and finish, the all-electric ORA 03 (previously known as the ‘Funky Cat’) is the first of many models that will be introduced in the UK under the GWM ORA brand. ORA 03 PURE+ comes equipped with a high level of specification as standard, including 48kWh battery and up to 193 miles of WLTP range, wireless phone charging, facial recognition, electric front seats, app integration and ‘Hello ORA’ intelligent voice assistance.
ORA 03 PRO+ offers an upgraded 63kWh battery and up to 260 miles of WLTP range with an enhanced level of comfort features. Drivers will benefit from additional standard features like heated, cooled and massage front seats, heated steering-wheel, panoramic sunroof, powered gesture tailgate, rear privacy glass and advanced automatic parking assistance.
To offer complete peace of mind, the vehicle is backed by a very comprehensive 5-year vehicle, unlimited mileage warranty with cover on the battery for 8-years or 100,000 miles. Service intervals are in-line with best-in-class competitors, scheduled every 2 years or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Additionally, ORA 03 offers best-in-class safety credentials, achieving a 5 star rating through Euro NCAP. It achieved the highest score in the ‘Small Family Car’ category overall, based on its results for Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable User Protection and Safety Assist technologies.
ORA 03 has also been awarded top marks by Green NCAP, an independent testing initiative which measures cars on their efficiency and environmental impact. With an average test score of 97% ORA 03 comfortably achieved a 5 star Green rating and has subsequently been announced as the winner of the Green NCAP ‘Small Family Car’ and ‘Full Electric Car’ categories.
GWM ORA recently achieved a key sales milestone, with 1000 vehicles now on the UK’s roads. Additionally, the brand has focused extensively on growing its core retail infrastructure in 2023, with 30+ dealerships now in place across the UK from 18 trusted retail partners.
