Driving a new Toyota through the Motability Scheme is a simple, affordable way of staying mobile if you or someone you care for has a disability. Toyota know that for many disabled people buying and adapting a car can be expensive, so the Motability specialists at Toyota dealerships across the country are on hand to offer advice and support to customers who want to lease a new Toyota using their Government-funded Mobility Allowance. The majority of the Toyota Motability range has a trim level available on the scheme with no upfront Advance Payment. Toyota cars currently available include the popular Toyota C-HR and the 5 door Toyota Yaris hatchback.
To order a Toyota through Motability, you or someone you care for needs to currently be claiming the Mobility element of one of a number of Government benefits – the Disability Living Allowance, the Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners’ Motability Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment – and have at least 12 months remaining. Even if you don’t drive, you can still register for the scheme as a passenger and nominate three people to drive the car on your behalf.
Thanks to the ‘worry-free’ Motability package, the vast majority of the costs normally associated with running a car are covered, meaning you only pay to fill up the tank.
Choose a new Toyota and in addition to a brand new car every 3 years (with a mileage allowance of 60,000 miles), when you exchange your Mobility Allowance you also benefit from comprehensive car insurance for 3 named drivers, servicing, maintenance, RAC roadside assistance and road tax for the duration of the lease.
You can choose a Toyota with an automatic gearbox, plus the cost of many modifications and adaptations (like hand controls and wheelchair hoists) are often covered by Motability.
Explore the extensive range of Toyota cars available through Motability and the latest deals, including all the cars that can be ordered with £0 Advance Payment.
