What Is The Motability '4 Day Rule'?

The Motability '4 Day Rule' relates to the number of days the dealership must wait to hand the vehicle over once a Confirmed Delivery Date (CDD) has been agreed.

Basically, the dealership is supposed to leave a minimum of 4 days from the day a CDD is entered into the Motability Scheme back-office system and when the vehicle is actually handed over.

This is so that there is enough time for all the paperwork and relevant checks to be summited. They are allowed to bypass this rule in certain limited circumstances.
