Mercedes Benz dealers work in partnership with the Motability scheme to help people with reduced mobility or a disability get behind the wheel of a new Mercedes Benz. Mercedes Benz currently offer a great range of premium cars through the scheme, including the Mercedes-Benz A Class, the B Class and the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA.
If you currently receive a Government funded Mobility Allowance you can apply to join the Motability Scheme. If you’re eligible and decide to join, the applicable part of the Allowance is paid directly to Motability and, in return, you get to lease a brand new car supplied by your local Mercedes Benz dealership.
Sometimes Mercedes Benz cars are available through the scheme with £0 Advance Payment, but if you decide to go for a more expensive model you can opt to make a one-off Advance Payment. It’s clear which vehicles require an Advance Payment and which ones don’t.
Customers come back to Motability time and time again because they value the incredible peace of mind that the scheme offers.
In addition to a brand new Mercedes Benz every three years with a 60,000 mile allowance, Motability also take care of the insurance, annual road tax, servicing, replacements tyre cover and damaged windscreen cover. Many simple vehicle adaptations are also included.
If you don’t drive, you can still get a Mercedes Benz through the scheme. If the car is being used for the benefit of the disabled person, Motability are happy for 3 drivers to be named on the insurance policy at no extra cost.
All these great benefits are covered by the payments that come from your Mobility Allowance. The only thing you’ll have to pay for is the fuel.
Here you’ll find all the Mercedes Benz Motability information you need to help you choose your next Motability car. If you need any further assistance you should get in touch with the Motability-accredited specialist at your local Mercedes Benz showroom.
